Renault Starts Global Exports of New Duster from India

Renault India has officially commenced exports of the all-new Renault Duster, marking a significant milestone in the company’s global manufacturing strategy. The first shipment comprising 750 units has departed from Chennai Port and is bound for South Africa, the first international market to receive the India-made SUV.

The export programme highlights the growing importance of Renault’s Chennai manufacturing facility within the company’s global operations. Renault stated that South Africa is only the beginning, with additional export markets expected to be added in the coming months.

According to Renault Group India CEO Stephane Deblaise, the start of Duster exports validates the quality, competitiveness and manufacturing capabilities of Renault’s Indian operations. He emphasized that India will play an increasingly strategic role in Renault’s international growth plans.

Renault currently exports vehicles from India to around 14 international markets across South Asia, Africa and other regions. The export launch also aligns with Renault’s ambitious target of generating €2 billion (approximately ₹25,000 crore) in annual exports from India by 2030. The company views India as a key pillar in its “futuREady India” strategy, which focuses on expanding manufacturing, engineering and export operations.

With strong demand in the domestic market and export operations now underway, the new Renault Duster is expected to become one of Renault India’s most important products in the coming years.

ಈ ರಫ್ತು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ರೆನಾಲ್ಟ್‌ನ ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚೆನ್ನೈ ಉತ್ಪಾದನಾ ಘಟಕದ ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತಿರುವ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಆಫ್ರಿಕಾ ಕೇವಲ ಆರಂಭವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಮುಂದಿನ ತಿಂಗಳುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನೂ ಹಲವು ದೇಶಗಳಿಗೆ ರಫ್ತು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸುವ ಯೋಜನೆ ಹೊಂದಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ರೆನಾಲ್ಟ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ.

ರೆನಾಲ್ಟ್ ಗ್ರೂಪ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾದ ಸಿಇಒ ಸ್ಟೆಫಾನ್ ಡೆಬ್ಲೇಸ್ ಅವರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಡಸ್ಟರ್ ರಫ್ತು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗಿರುವುದು ಭಾರತದ ಉತ್ಪಾದನಾ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ, ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಾತ್ಮಕತೆಯ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಭಾರತವು ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರೆನಾಲ್ಟ್‌ನ ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಕೇಂದ್ರವಾಗಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ರೆನಾಲ್ಟ್ ಭಾರತದಿಂದ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಏಷ್ಯಾ, ಆಫ್ರಿಕಾ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಸುಮಾರು 14 ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಗಳಿಗೆ ವಾಹನಗಳನ್ನು ರಫ್ತು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಡಸ್ಟರ್ ರಫ್ತು ಆರಂಭವು 2030ರೊಳಗೆ ಭಾರತದಿಂದ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ €2 ಬಿಲಿಯನ್ (ಸುಮಾರು ₹25,000 ಕೋಟಿ) ಮೌಲ್ಯದ ರಫ್ತು ಸಾಧಿಸುವ ಕಂಪನಿಯ ಮಹತ್ವಾಕಾಂಕ್ಷಿ ಗುರಿಗೂ ಪೂರಕವಾಗಿದೆ. ಉತ್ಪಾದನೆ, ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಮತ್ತು ರಫ್ತು ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸುವ “futuREady India” ಯೋಜನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರ ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ.
