Honda has reportedly outsourced the development of a new vehicle platform to Tata Technologies, marking a major shift in its engineering strategy. The collaboration aims to reduce development costs, shorten timelines and leverage India’s growing automotive engineering capabilities for future Honda models.

Renault India has partnered with IIT Kanpur to strengthen passenger vehicle research and development. The collaboration will utilise the National Wind Tunnel Facility to advance aerodynamics, vehicle performance, engineering research and sustainable mobility technologies.
